About Us

     Hi my name is Christina, and  I'd like to take a moment and introduce you to our family and what we're about. My husband Sam and I, and our three sons are still learning alot about this life , but love the challenges and the laughs we share each day here on the farm.  Although we're not full time farmers or homesteaders, meaning we work outside the home and our kids are not homeschooled, but we are definitely passionate about our animals and our little hobby farm in the city.

   In 2007 we built our little dream home on a 1.25 acre plot in the high desert of southern California, where we get extreme weather and high winds, but we make it work. We are currently building our Nigerian dwarf goat herd and  exploring the world of milking, gardening and just using what we've got or grown ourselves. We have some chickens and a couple of mini pigs, and of course our Nigerian goats, who just steal our hearts, and theres still room to grow.
